Hear it, See it Feel the Music.

I Didn’t Know

by Claudia Lopez

Claudia Lopez is a Cuban-American singer-songwriter born and raised in Miami. She grew up in a musical family, always surrounded by music. Claudia always knew she would be a musician and at the age of 6, she learned to play the guitar and piano among other instruments, wrote her first song and discovered her passion for songwriting.

In 2009, she received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. After returning to Miami, she was accepted to the University of Miami Frost School of Music’s Jazz Vocal Program where she earned her bachelor’s degree. Claudia is a versatile musician who can perform various musical styles from Pop, Rnb, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Blues, to Salsa and Latin Jazz. Her writing styles usually fall within the Pop/R&B genre however, you can feel the influence of her Latin roots and jazz training. Aside from singing professionally, Claudia also works as a recording session musician and has a studio in Miami called C&C Production Studio.

Claudia Lopez’s new release is “I Didn’t Know” from her debut album “Running out of Time”. “I Didn’t Know” with a classically calm, organic sound playing and it has some softness from the offset, invites a wider audience along for the ride, and soon follows her vibe beautifully. Really this awesome track gives you positive vibes and it’s amazing when you see the track.

Everything about this song demonstrates the tremendous amount of thought and planning that has gone into the project. The audio begins with a wonderful, dramatic monologue, followed by joyful music, chord progressions, and an intriguing and mysterious melody. There is a very specific riff that runs throughout the background, which adds a bright touch of a musical tone to the piece. The rising melody also makes good use of contrast for what is essentially the hook.

“Claudia Lopez” has released the smooth and infectious, good vibes track, which is again “I Didn’t Know.” The tune is soft and colorful, bringing a hypnotic rhythmic escape, and the featured video adds a classic nostalgic flicker of instrumental music. The whole thing weaves its catchy riffs into your headspace as it flows.
