Swim The Current’s latest single, “Stay,” is a powerful collaboration that merges the talents of renowned musicians across rock and metal. Spearheaded by guitarist Greg Antine, who wanted to craft music with deeper, more personal themes, the project has evolved into a supergroup of sorts. Bassist George Pond (Disciples of Verity) joined Antine early on, and together they fleshed out the project’s vision with a cinematic twist, bringing in guitarist/keyboardist Joe Gareri to add atmospheric layers.
Completing the lineup, Chris Moore (Ultraphonix, Rock of Ages) delivers commanding drums, while Marcos Leal, known for his work with Ill Niño, lends his dynamic vocal presence. “Stay” captures the raw energy and emotional depth each member brings, resulting in a track that’s as intense as it is introspective.
