by Tori Allen

Finding yourself means fearlessly accepting yourself for exactly who you are. It means breaking out of the box life puts you in and living free from expectations. That’s exactly what Texas native Tori Allen is doing. Tori Allen is one of Nashville’s most accomplished artists and fiddle players on the music scene today. Recently finishing the Zac Brown Band’s 2021 “The Comeback Tour” with Country newcomer, Ashland Craft, Allen is pursuing her original music and it’s full steam ahead. Allen is a recording artist, musician and multi-instrumentalist, playing the mandolin, violin, guitar and piano as well as singing background vocals in her projects as well as with other artists globally. She has worked alongside artists such as Stevie Wonder, Jimmie Allen, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, Mickey Guyton, Riley Green, Blanco Brown, Jordan Davis and many more. In her original projects, Tori has found success opening for acts such as Jake Owen, Paula Nelson, Dillon Carmichael, Cole Swindell, Dierks Bentley including countless others. Allen is currently in her third year as a member of the CMT Awards house band since joining in 2019.

Tori Allen has been an artist and professional musician for over 15 years. Growing up as a classical violinist for most of her life, she was selected as a soloist performing at Carnegie Hall at the age of 18 in 2010. She would then attend The University of San Antonio as a double major in violin and viola before moving to Nashville, Tennessee shortly after in 2011 to pursue songwriting. Allen was brought to Nashville by opportunity on the corporate side of the music industry, working for Full Circle Music Publishing on Nashvilles’ famed Music Row where she would learn to hone her craft as a songwriter and learn about the music industry. Tori is closing out 2021 with the release of her music video for her single “Colors” which has garnered over 330k streams on Spotify alone. Tori will kick off 2022 by dropping six consecutive singles through the winter into the spring months leading to her spring tour including dates domestically and throughout Europe.

After the overwhelming success of her latest release Colors, upbeat country fusion artist Tori Allen brings you a brand-new feel-good music video. In just three short months since the song’s release, she has acquired over 330k streams on Spotify, been featured on The Ty Bentli Show’s Daily Soundtrack on Apple Music, and is listed in the Top 50 songs from the American Songwriter’s Song Contest. Colors, written by Tori Allen, Corey Wagar-Grogan, and Josh Paige was a concept that came to be back in 2016. “We wrote this song about the professional NFL players kneeling on the field during their nationally televised games- just to have the world ‘hear’ and ‘see’ them…but I felt the world wasn’t ready to hear or receive where they were coming from,” says Tori. “My family and I grew up in government-funded housing where we didn’t have a lot. I watched the kids next to me get different treatment than I did as a young white female, but we were all in the same boat. We were all coming from a home that couldn’t support us, but we had an entire community of kids that made me believe in the power of people and the open idea that at the end of the day, we all come from somewhere. It may look different, but at the end of the day we must function from a place of love.” The song is available on all digital streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and more.
