Although Alber Joe began his life in the Dominican Republic, he was born on the island of St. Maarten in 1983. Alber Joe’s love of music was undoubtedly influenced by the fact that his father was also a musician in the 1970s and 1980s. In 1995, he and his brother Don Kino formed the rap trio Los Chulos Clan and began their careers. They collaborated on several albums that became critical successes.
